Law Enforcement Gears Up for Events Planned For Friday, Saturday That May Include Direct Action

Protesters and police were preparing Monday for President Bush’s scheduled visit to the Napa Valley later this week.
Organizers said protests are being planned for Friday evening when Bush is scheduled to arrive in St. Helena and on Saturday morning when he departs.
The protests might include some form of “direct action,” according to Elizabeth Stinson, the executive director of the Sonoma County Peace and Justice Center.
