Jan 13th – if you are in Assembly District 1.
Jan. 14th – if you are in Assembly District 6 or 7.

Delegate elections will be held on January 13th or 14th, depending on your assembly district. At that time, 12 people (6 women and 6 men) will be elected to serve a two year term.
Progressive Democrats of America, SoCal Grassroots, and the Progressive Caucus of the CA Democratic Party have joined forces to run progressive candidate slates for delegate positions.

In general, Progressive Delegates agree to support and be active in the immediate withdrawl of troops from Iraq, clean money elections, poverty elimination, single payer universal healthcare, and investigations toward impeachment of the Bush Administration.

Delegates can have an impact in the Democratic Party on progressive issues we all care about. Delegates can vote on candidate endorsements, help shape the platform of the California Democratic Party, serve on one or more committees and vote on resolutions of concern to progressives.
